Definition of Treasure: 
I wanted to draw different shaped eyes for this little sweetie but when it came time to paint them...I chickened out. I fell back into my comfort zone and painted her eyes like I always paint them. But to cover up what I'd drawn, I had to paint her eyes large enough to cover my mistakes giving her an overly excited expression...talk about bright eyes!!
I gave her little pink lips just for the heck of it...actually a little bit of pink paint dropped just above her smile line so I thought it'd be easier to paint lips on her then trying to wipe it off.

I must of had Halloween on my mind when I put this little cutie together. I started off with the vibrant cat pattern and colors of her skirt and ended with her Candy Corn colored (gradual shades of light yellow to dark yellow) hand dyed and spun 100% wool yarn hair. I cleaned out the sewing room last week and I came across a box filled with fabric that I had forgotten that I had. When I opened up the box it took me a minute to realize that the fabric that I packed away was something that I had bought 2 years ago. This apple fabric was in that box and it goes well with the teacher theme. This Annie turned out well. I wasn't sure if the cow and bandana fabric would go well together but once I made the outfit along with a couple of cute braids...it all made sense. So if your looking for an Annie with a bit of down home country charm, Olde Mill Annie is the one for you.
Newspaper articles and crossword puzzle print made for an interesting themed Annie...Smarty Pants Annie. I forgot that I had this whimsical fabric stashed away so I decided to make an outfit for this bright eyed little one. 
I love this color so much that I ran a muck with it...just a little. I thought the color of this outfit was cute and then I thought...hey! I have a similar shade I can use for her hair. Then I thought it would be interesting to tie it all in by painting a similar color for her eyes...then *BAM* here she is!
Don't worry...Bee Happy! Spring has sprung and with Bee Happy Annie in her floral print outfit and huge smile she gives off an excitement that yes it's finally here. 
Ahh Girl Scout Cookies! Everybody has a favorite Girl Scout Cookie and this Annie loves Thin Mints. I thought I'd do something a little whimsical with her out fit and picked out this fun printed theme...plus I do love the color green. Now tell me you don't feel the need to get a glass of milk when you see this cutie PIE...there I go talking about food again. 
I wanted to stir things up a bit by giving this Annie a little fun and sassy personality to compliment her fun and sassy but country themed attire. Her Toasted Biscotti colored hair gives the bold color of her dress a more subtle look.
Twinkle, twinkle little star, this Annie is the sweetest by far. The dark rich color of her dress really brought out the green in her eyes and the Lemon Sherbet colored hair added a soft touch.
I thought I'd continue with the summer house theme and incorporate it into this Annie's country outfit with coordinating apron. Her Dark Cocoa colored hair brings it all together giving her a simple look.
To me polka dotted fabric screams fun and what better way to display it is on this fun little cutie. The colors remind me of milk chocolate mint ice cream with confetti candy sprinkles sprayed with whipped cream in an upside down cone. You probably didn't get that from this picture but trust me...that's what it says to me or I just could be hungry.
I love the color of her hair! Hand dyed and spun this 100% wool yarn has a nice sheen in the fiber and color is deep, rich and vibrant. Feels soft to the touch, has a nice flow in the way it moves giving it that twirled look that I like so much and makes for the cutest pigtails.
I wanted to celebrate thing's that reminds me of Spring...like gardening, flowers and bugs. Well here is one small interpretation of what I've been wanting and thinking about ever since Winter began and that is Spring...Lady Bug Annie! I'm so ready for Winter to be over that I can almost smell the soil under the freshly fallen snow. Lady Bug Annie's hang tag reads: "Dreaming of Andy..." I should wear one that says: "Dreaming of Spring!" LoL!
New batch of Annie's has come out! I have finally gotten around to making more Annie's. I hope I can keep this up in the midst of being newly engaged, buying a house and having to get a new job all in less then 2 months time...Whew!! I decided to make these dollies expressions a lot more expressive to show how I'm feel'in these days, So I hope you can feel my excitement coming forth in the faces of each of these Annie's and that they make you feel that way when you see them.
