Here are some of the colors of yarn that I'm thinking on using on my little darlings. I have 4 dollies completed and hopefully I will be able to have them listed on ebay or etsy by Wed morning. Still trying to take better pictures and right now it's a hit and miss situation. But I will keep you posted on when and where the other dolls are to be listed in the near future so stay tuned! :)
Well not really. These were just a few dolls who's heads were sewn, stitched, painted and attached to their long awaited, fully dressed bodies...Phew! Now for the hair, embellishments and accessories. The fun just never ends!
Honestly thought that I could whip out 21 pairs of shoes in one day. After taking 30 minutes to cut out and sew up just 1 pair I realized I was definitely out of my mind!
Jump ahead and we have clothes all sewn up. Dolls are fully clothed and ready to have their heads sewn on. Shoes needed to be made and sewn. Also new fabric I bought are sitting to the left ready to be made into dresses for more future dollies to wear.
Fabric was dyed, dried, cut and sewn into dolly parts. Can you tell which body part is what? A lot of work ahead.
Back to work! Can you tell I've been busy? Sewing up dollies like a fiend. I've sewn up 21 dollies to begin with and this is just the beginning. Definitely more dolls to come.
