Craft Room Frenzy!

My place of my creativity. Looks like a mess because it is. Believe it or not, it is an "organized" mess...wink, wink. This is just one area of our spare room that is used for making my dolls. The other half of the room is occupied by my boyfriend Ray, the TV and a treadmill. Ray has a table that he uses to customize his diecast cars. On rare days are we both crafting in the room together. I guess it's because he runs hot and I run cold. I like to have the heater on in that room getting it to a comfortable 75 degrees. He says it feels like 100 degrees in there because his comfort zone is at a cool 62 degrees. Yeah right 62 degrees. To me that's with a wind chill factor of 35 making it 40 below. Either way we find a happy medium and are able to get in there and create (me more so then him). Well, I have to get cracking and crank out more of my dollies. I have a lot of ideas rolling around in my head and I can't wait to get them out and get started.

Give me Something Good to Eat

Trick-or-Treat! and ready to eat whatever goodies comes her way this Halloween season. Armed with pumpkin in hand, Kandi Korn Annie stands a frightening 10". With eyes the same color as her hair, Kandi Korn Annie is wearing a festive Halloween motif print dress with felt pockets, orange rick rack and matching brown button sewn felt collar. Her bloomers matches the hat that she's sporting for her night of ghoulish fun to had by all. A checkered witches hat with a black felt bow and a rusty bell sewn on is appropriate attire for this Halloweener's one scary night of the year.

This is my newest angel. Angel Cake Annie to be exact. She is sooo dreamy, she looks like she could just float on air. She'll be listed on eBay and etsy in the next couple of days. To get her while she's piping hot, be the first in line to get a generous slice of Angel Cake Annie on me because she's absolutely heavenly! Remember: First come, first served.

Give Me Some Sugar!

There's nothing like the smell of warm sugar cookies baking in the oven on a cold/rainy day. This is Sugar Cookie Annie and she smells just like her yummy name implies. My homemade ingredients for this scrumptious confection calls for:
2 cups dyed muslin
1/2 tsp. polyfil
1/2 tsp. pretty material
1/4 tsp acrylic paint
1/4 T. yarn
A pinch of floss, felt and ribbons

Stir, roll and cookie cut to desired adorable Annie shape. Sprinkle lightly with sunshine. Made with a whole lot of tender loving care, from my home to yours. Enjoy! Oh! Don't forget the milk.
